The Student Poster Competition encourages and recognizes students who present professional quality posters at the annual Plains Conference.
All students attending the Plains Conference are invited to compete for this annual award. Separate undergraduate and graduate awards will be granted. The award is a cash payment of $100 to undergraduates and $200 to graduate students. The winner will be announced at the conference banquet, to which the lead author will receive two complimentary tickets. The deadline for submissions will be announced soon.
All posters must meet the style/size guidelines outlined on the Call for Papers.

Enrolled as a full or part-time student, either undergraduate or graduate.
Must indicate intent to participate in the competition when submitting abstract to the conference program organizer.
The lead author must present the poster in the designated poster session.
Register for the conference. On the abstract form, note your intention to enter the Student Poster Competition.
Abstract Submission Deadline: October 8, 2021
Entrants are responsible for conference registration.
Submitting a poster to the committee will not register you for the conference!
