The Plains Anthropological Society Board of Directors is pleased to announce the Student Travel Grant for 2023. The purpose of this award is to encourage participation of undergraduate students in the Plains Anthropological Society and its annual meeting.
Eligibility: Funding is available for 1) individual undergraduate applicants; 2) a collective of undergraduate students; or 3) faculty members who wish to organize transportation or other accommodations for a group of undergraduates attending the conference.
Applicants do not need to present research to be eligible; however, preference will be give to those presenting research or filling an active role at the meeting. All applicants must notify and have the support of their faculty advisor/reference to apply.
Award Amount: Award amounts will vary, with a minimum of $250/recipient. Recipients will receive a check at the conference.
