Following changes to the bylaws in 2022, the Plains Anthropological Society PRESIDENT will be elected from and by the general membership for a three-year term.

 

We are seeking a slate of two candidates to fill an upcoming vacancy in the position of President. The PAS President will play a vital role in the growth and success of the Plains Anthropological Society. The President role offers a great networking and development opportunity as well.

Director

Pursuant to Article 5 of the bylaws of the Plains Anthropological Society (PAS), we request nominations from the general membership to the positions of Board of Directors. Board members serve a three-year term. Electees are expected to attend the Plains Anthropological Conference, at their own expense, for four years (including their inaugural year).

 

We are seeking a slate of six candidates to fill three upcoming vacancies on the board. Pursuant to the recent change for the direct election of the President, elected directors will not be asked to serve as President of the Society. Directors play a vital role in the growth and success of the Plains Anthropological Society and offers a great networking and development opportunity as well.
